Glossier! I’m ready to proclaim my undying love for this brand. Let’s get into it!
We all know Glossier and their adorable aesthetic. Pink! I love it! While I have not tried out all of Glossier’s skin care products I have tried their most hyped up ones and I was not disappointed. While scrolling through Instagram, a sponsored Glossier post came up and I was immediately intrigued. I had dabbled in skin care, trying out what was on sale at Sephora or whatever looked decent at Walgreens. I didn’t really even know my skin type or what my skin needed. So, naturally I clicked on the sponsored post to learn more about the “Glossier Phase 1 Set“. This set contains their Milky Jelly Cleanser (6 fl oz), Priming Moisturizer (1.7 fl oz), and Balm Dotcom (0.5 fl oz) for $40. It seemed like a good deal and I had heard so many good things about Glossier that I decided to give it a go and order Phase 1.
The Milky Jelly Cleanser is amazing. My dry skin loves it. After cleansing, my skin truly feels and looks amazing. The 6 fl oz of product lasts me a few months and I’m fine with the $18 price tag. I have tried a few other higher end cleansers before, but they all left my skin dry and flakey. I don’t think I will ever buy anything else all long as the formula stays the same. I was blown away by the results and I had no idea I could feel this way about a face wash. Is this true love?
The Priming Moisturizer is great. Quick absorbing and leaves my skin hydrated all day and all year long! Even in the brittle winter my skin didn’t flake once while using this product. However, the $22 price tag doesn’t sit well with me. It’s a great moisturizer but I will be looking for a dupe.
The Balm Dotcom! This stuff is amazing, put it on before bed and in the morning your lips feel incredible! I love lip balms, they are truly my jam. I have lip balms squirreled away everywhere possible. But after trying the Balm Dotcom for the first time, I don’t think any other product will suffice. I have tried 3 flavors; mint, cherry, and coconut. So far, each flavor’s consistency and texture have varied slightly, and the mint is my definite favorite. I was initially shocked seeing that each tube was $12, but considering I still have the first one that I got a little less than a year ago, it’s fine. It lasts forever. I want to try every flavor, I need more!
I can’t wait to try more from Glossier, I am especially interested in their skin tint and Boy Brow.
