Ipsy Glam Bag – September

If you do not already know about Ipsy Glam Bags, here’s the scoop: For $10 a month you receive 5 beauty products in a cute little make up bag. You can receive anything from makeup brushes to body wash. Most items are small trial size products but I have received the occasional full size liquid lip. There is a wide variety of brands and you are almost guaranteed to discover a new holy grail product with Ipsy.

I have had months where my bag was pretty disappointing, being that I have accumulated quite a few mini black eyeliners since I started my subscription and I rarely use eyeliner these days. However, as a whole I do love my Glam Bags. Finding that reflective pink envelope on my doorstep always brightens my day.

So, let’s get into my September Glam Bag!

Item #1 – Noyah peppermint lip balm

A short summary of my thoughts: I would say that overall I was not too impressed with this month’s bag. I always enjoy trying new sheet masks, but these seemed pretty basic and I had never heard of the brand BRTC. The eyeshadow brush is densely packed and very soft. I LOVE a good mint lip balm so I’m always happy to add another one to my collection. You can’t go wrong with Benefit’s Hoola bronzer. The primer is very dimethicone-y and I prefer something more hydrating. I just wasn’t super excited about my products this month but as always, I can’t wait for next month’s Glam Bag!
