I just wanted to share what I picked up on my recent trip to Sephora. I haven’t spent any big bucks at Sephora in awhile. I for sure had a bit of a spending problem a few years ago when it came to Sephora. There were just so many things I wanted to try, but my spending is under control now.
There have been a few things I’ve been wanting to get my hands on and after doing very well on two assignments last night, I decided it was time to treat myself. While I did get a boatload of beauty crap from Ipsy Gen Beauty, there were a few things I NEEDED in my life. Two items in this mini haul were in my October Wish List, so if you wanna check that out, I’ve linked it.
First things first, I needed these two Sephora #Lipstories lipsticks. I got the shades 01 Brunch Date and 07 Love love. These are both matte shades, but they aren’t flat or crusty lip looking matte lipsticks. They feel wonderful on the lips and I just love them! I love all of these #Lipstories lipsticks. Seriously! They make your lips look incredible. These are a MUST! Sephora brand is seriously slept on.
I also picked up the First Aid Beauty Triple Protection Skin Tint. I was interested in the Glossier skin tint, but the FAB skin tint looks like it has a little more coverage. I was also able to actually swatch this one and play with it a little in store. I look forward to using it all up and then testing out the Glossier one out to seeing which on I like better.
Becca Hydra-Mist powder? I’ve been on the hunt for a good setting powder. The only one I’ve really tried out before was an ELF one and it made my skin look awful. I have dry skin so powder is tricky for me. However with my skin care routine lately, I’ve managed to keep dry patches to a minimum so I feel like I’m ready to dive into some powder. This morning I remembered hearing about some kind of wet feeling powder, so I searched in on Youtube and it all came back to me. This setting and refreshing powder is somehow 50% water. I can’t wait to try this out tomorrow before work.
The last thing I picked up was a full size Too Faced Hangover primer. I love a good moisturizing primer and I had to have this. I don’t need to say much about this primer other than it smells amazing and feels incredible on the skin. Sometimes I even use it alone, without any other make up. It just blesses your skin. Love! Love! Love!
None of these products are new or exciting, I was just on the hunt for new staples for my everyday make up routine!
Thanks for reading! If you’ve tried any of the products let me know!
