November 2018 Ipsy Glam Bag

My Ipsy Glam bag arrived today and as soon as I held it in my hand I knew it was going to be good. I don’t think this has EVER happened with one of my Glam Bags, but I am super excited about every item! At the end I’ll go over my general thoughts about this month’s bag!

Timeless Beauty Bar sheet masks

As always with sheet masks, I received two. Each mask serves a different purpose. The “Up on the Clouds” mask contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin, and the “Glam and Glow” mask contains vitamin C to brighten the skin. I’m happy with these, because they are both types of masks I would gravitate to. img_0370.jpg

Juno & Co Microfiber Velvet Sponge

First impression from just touching it, this is super interesting. I assumed it would feel similar to a Beauty Blender but it is pretty different. It’s kind of fuzzy and not super squishy like I expected. I am so excited to try this out and I will for sure be putting out a review of this soon.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush

We all know Tarte has amazing blushes and this one is no exception. What I like most is that the shade, Quirky, is something that I actually like.  It is a good color for me. I already have a mini one of their blushes and it is perfect for traveling.

Pixi by Petra LipLift Max

This lip pluming gloss is super pretty! I also really like a lot of Pixi products so I was happy to find one in my bag. The gloss has beautiful shine and shimmer plus it smells nice and minty. While this isn’t a gloss I would use regularly because of the shimmer, I still look forward to using it next time I go out. img_0372.jpg

Skone Cosmetics Brow Wand

I’m always down to try out new brow products! I tend to like products like this one, with the kind of triangle tip. I find it easy to use. I drew some hair-like strokes on my hand with the pointed side and it seems like it will do a really good job. The color is a little darker than I would normally use, but it should be fine now that my darker roots have grown out so much!

This month’s bag was so good. After not being thrilled with the past few bags, I was getting ready to end my subscription. I recently went through all my preferences of brands, product types, and colors to really hone in on the types of things I actually want to try. This seems to have worked, or maybe I just got luck this month!

While I am beyond thrilled with my products this month, I am curious about what my bag went through. The box the Tarte blush came in was pretty crushed and the cap on the brow pencil was cracked. While the products themselves were not damaged, I feel like they could have been. I’m curious if anyone else’s products ever seem like they’ve been through a lot…

Thank you for reading and let me know your thoughts on Ipsy Glam Bags or other subscription boxes!
🙂 Fran
