Fun Christmas Eye Look

While procrastinating an important assignment I have due tonight, I decided to play with some make up. My original idea was to do a sparkly green eye shadow look, but it evolved into something a little different. The end result was basically a Christmas Harley Quinn. One eye with green colors and the other eye with red colors. I personally like the green side a little better but having both colors is fun! If you are interested I have to deets below, I only used 2 palettes (BH Cosmetics Supernova and Tarte Make Believe in Yourself), a few eyeshadow singles, and one glitter eyeliner.

I started by applying Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in the crease. I use this bronzer at my transition shade a lot, it is so smooth and blends so effortlessly on the eyes and on the face I love it so much!

After blending that in, I added Lorac eyeshadow single in the shade Lush on the outer third of my lid. I blended that into the crease a little, then packed more on the outer third and blended again.

Next I cracked open my Supernova palette. I packed the shade Pisces all over my lid. I blended some Lyra into the crease. Finally, I dabbed some Pegasus onto the center of my lid and in the inner corner.

I lined my eye with the Color Pop Super Shock shadow in the shade Paradox, and smudged it on the lower lash line. Then traced to outside of the liner with my gold Starry Eyed glitter liner.

On to the red eye! I began the same as the green side, with applying my bronzer in the crease. I then applied the shade Myth from the Tarte palette on the outer third of my eye. I blended this into the crease, packed on more, and blended again. Just like with the green. I took the shade Marvel on applied it to the bottom lash line.

I then went back to the Supernova palette and packed the shade Neutron all over the lid. I blended some of the shade Aries into the crease. Then just like on the green eye, I dabbed Pegasus on the center of the eye and in the inner corner.

I lined this eye with the Lorac eyeshadow in the shade Lush, and traced that line with the gold glitter eyeliner!

To finish the look I applied some mascara but some falsies would look great too.

I tried super hard to take a nice picture of the finished look, but I look pretty derpy in all the photos! However, I had a lot of fun playing with my make up today. I hope I’ll have a chance to recreate this look and wear it out! I love how both colors enhanced my natural eye color and I love all the glitter.87033261-83F7-459D-A68D-585F3C8AEC02

Thank you for reading! Let me know if you’re feeling this look! I will probably be doing more posts like this in the future, I forgot how much fun it is to play with colorful eyeshadow!

🙂 Fran
